Our anti-fog hot melt adhesive is specially engineered to address cold-chain labeling challenges. It achieves reliable adhesion on both high-polarity and low-polarity substrates, including glass and PE plastics. Even where container surfaces are covered with water mist or condensation, this yellow hot melt adhesive can form firm bonds without prior surface drying. It resolves the common pain point: conventional labels tend to delaminate or develop edge lifting once condensation occurs under refrigerated conditions.
This adhesive performs well under harsh temperature fluctuations. The minimum labeling temperature reaches -20℃, which means you can apply labels directly on cold products. After labeling, the finished labels can withstand a service temperature range from -50℃ up to 70℃. Whether for frozen storage, long-distance refrigerated shipment or room-temperature shelf display, the adhesive maintains stable bonding and prevents edge lifting or label dropping. It works perfectly with synthetic paper, PET and other film face stocks, and is SGS certified to meet global export environmental standards.
Shelf life: Two years when stored at 23±2℃ and 50±5% RH. Proper storage conditions are required to retain its original tack, anti-fog property and processing stability.
Applied to label production for PE containers, glass packaging and other packages exposed to cold, humid or condensation-prone environments, including refrigerated food, beverage and personal care products.
As the labeling, packaging and functional materials industries impose higher requirements on bonding reliability, adhesion to low-polarity substrates including PE and glass has become a widely concerned technical challenge.
Our anti-fog hot melt adhesive is developed for bonding low-polarity substrates. It maintains good performance on damp surfaces and offers a broad service temperature range, suited for label application on PE, glass and other substrates.
For manufacturers selecting hot melt adhesives, we recommend conducting comprehensive tests considering substrates, label face stocks, coating equipment, application temperature and end-use environment, to confirm the most suitable product and processing parameters.
