Transparent PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) label is a high-performance self-adhesive film label made of polyester material. It is widely recognized as a premium labeling solution featuring ultra-high transparency, smooth glossy surface and excellent dimensional stability. Different from ordinary paper labels and BOPP labels, transparent PET labels present an almost “label-free” visual effect after pasting, which perfectly retains the original texture and color of the product packaging surface. With moderate hardness and strong tensile strength, this label material is not easy to tear, deform or wrinkle during daily use and pasting processes.
Transparent PET labels have outstanding comprehensive performance that adapts to complex use environments. Firstly, they possess superior environmental resistance, including water resistance, oil resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and UV resistance, effectively avoiding fading, blurring or falling off caused by long-term exposure to air or harsh conditions. Secondly, they feature excellent temperature adaptability, stably working in the temperature range from -40°C to 150°C without yellowing or warping. In addition, the material supports high-precision printing, with clear ink presentation and strong color reduction, and the surface film can protect printed patterns and texts for long-term durability.
This is the most mainstream application scenario of transparent PET labels. They are widely used in transparent glass and plastic packaging of cosmetics, skin care products, premium wine, beverages and gourmet food. The transparent design integrates the label with the packaging, enhancing the minimalist and high-grade brand texture, and greatly improving product shelf appeal.
In the electronics field, transparent PET labels are applied to product nameplates, serial number labels, circuit board identification and electrical equipment marking. Their high temperature resistance and wear resistance ensure that the identification information remains complete and clear during equipment operation and daily maintenance, meeting industrial traceability and safety marking standards.
For industrial manufacturing, they are used for mechanical equipment labels, chemical container safety marks and pipeline identification. In the automotive industry, they serve for engine compartment labels, parts traceability labels and VIN code marks. Their strong resistance to oil, high temperature and harsh environments makes them suitable for long-term industrial and automotive use.
Thanks to UV and weather resistance, transparent PET labels are also used for outdoor equipment identification, power and telecommunication facility marking and asset management labels, maintaining stable performance in long-term outdoor wind and sun exposur
